The "Cold Start" problem in research is real. ChatGPT can act as a Research Assistant to help you map out a new industry or competitor landscape in minutes.

1. Competitor SWOT Analysis

Ask the AI to perform a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis based on known information or reviews.

Example Prompt:

"Perform a SWOT analysis for [Competitor Name]. Based on their public pricing, recent feature launches, and common customer complaints on social media, identifying two key opportunities where our company could win."

2. Customer Persona Development

Define who you are selling to.

  • "Create three detailed customer personas for a high-end subscription coffee service. Include their 'Daily Routine', 'Buying Triggers', and 'Biggest Inconvenience' with their current coffee setup."
